mi ero persa l'esperimento con le fragole e non riesco a immaginare la frittata con la frutta quindi non mi resta che provare, è un genere di esperimenti tra i miei preferiti ................però ho la sensazione che presto da queste parti vedremo qualcosa di goloso con le noci pecan ^ ___ ^

I make a jam with roasted plums, it is fantastic.
Must try this frittata it is so inspiring.
What's even more inspiring is to make home made cheese.

I have to be honest here. I don't think I'll ever make a frittata with home made cheese and roasted fruit. There is something in making cheese at home that frightens me. On the other hand, I'd really love to try these combinations of yours. any particular tips for using store bought cheese instead?

I love that you've added peaches here. What can I use as a substitute to caciotta. I'm not sure that I can find caciotta in my grocery store. I will look, though.

Ciao Astro. L'esperimento con le fragole e' stata una sorpresa piacevole e da li' mi sono lanciata. Ho provato anche con i fichi, ma non mi ha soddisfatta. La frittata con le pesche e' veramente ottima. Il post con le noci pecan era solo una prima bozza: l'ho pubblicato per errore e cancellato subito, ma il feed lo ha preso al volo. Lo pubblichero' presto :)

Ciao Val. Since I started making frittata with fruit, I have neglected other ingredients: indeed, it's become a favorite.

Ciao Brii. A roasted plum jam sounds very nice. I hope you'll give cheese a try and have fun.

Ciao Frank. It sounds strange, I know. The cheese tones down the sweetness, and the whole combination works. I will certainly try using other kinds of fruit.

Ciao Graziana. Buona idea: fammi sapere se funziona.

Ciao Caffettiera. I was scared at the beginning of my cheese-making days. But you can start with a simple soft cheese that requires little investment. Once you get some good result, then you'll be more daring. In the UK, I'd try a mild cheddar. Let me know if you do.

Ciao Paz. I'd look for some Monterey Jack, unflavored. Let me know if you try.
