East meets West (in black and white)
This week when I wanted to contribute a photo originally shot in black and white. Alas! other commitments took over my schedule and I had to leave my camera in its case. The second wish was to choose a photo of a dish, something that was the result of cooking ingredients. A dinner at a Japanese restaurant on Sunday, reminded me of this photo where roveja, a legume from my home region of Umbria, is served in a Japanese bowl and eaten with chopsticks.
This is my submission to week #4 edition of Black and White Wednesday - A Culinary Photography Event, recently launched by Susan of The Well-Seasoned Cook.
The photo was shot in color and then converted to black and white.
This post contains the gallery of photos submitted to the event.
